Five Star Home Delivery is a leading delivery service provider in Bermuda. We offer delivery services for restaurant food, groceries, and retail store orders throughout the island and we strive to provide our customers with the best delivery experience possible.
Job Description:
We are seeking motivated and dependable delivery drivers who will be responsible for delivering various items island-wide. As a delivery driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of orders to customers. The successful candidate will use their own private car to make deliveries and must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Additionally - to the $18/hour, you will receive:
- 100% Tips (Minimum of $5 per order)
- $10 Per Shift for Gas (Car) or $5 Per Shift for Gas (Bike)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver restaurant food, groceries, and retail store orders throughout the island of Bermuda
- Pick up orders from various locations and ensure they are delivered on time and in good condition
- Use your own private car or bike to make deliveries and maintain the vehicle in good condition
- Communicate effectively with the dispatch team
- Ensure the safety of the delivered items and follow all traffic rules and regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
- Capable of conducting shopping duties on behalf of customers - when required
Requirements:
You must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Have a valid Bermuda driver's license and a clean driving record
- Have access to a reliable vehicle in good condition
- Have a cell phone with data and be able to use navigation apps
- Be able to work efficiently and unsupervised
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Be able to walk, drive lift and carry items.
- Pay attention to details.
*You will be required to work some weekends and evenings on a rotating schedule*
